How to Learn to Love Islam

  Learning to love Islam again after becoming a lapsed Muslim can be hard, but follow these steps and Insha' Allah you will achieve love for your religion.
   
  Steps
• 
  Learn the seerah of Prophet Muhammad (saws) and identify with his struggle to establish Islam amongst the pagan Arabs.
• 
  Read the Qur'an as often as possible.
• 
  Surround yourself with positive things associated with your faith, i.e. a Qur'an recitation that you enjoy, and Islamic book that you like, friends and family that are good practicing Muslims...
• 
  Understand the ins and outs of your faith and why Allah has enjoined certain things on the believers (such as no alcohol) and understand the wisdom behind the prohibition and be thankful to Allah that he has saved you from this and given you the opportunity to enter jannah.
• 
  Make Dua often and communicate with Allah, seeking forgiveness and assistance in reaffirming your trust in Him and the deen.
